Semiconductor Industry

At InterObject, I took part in two large projects developing SCADA parts of control system for semiconductor chip manufacturing equipment Lynx and ProCell. The software was written in Smalltalk programming language and utilised ControlWORKS Framework.

Types of Equipment

The projects Lynx and ProCell were developed for two major semiconductor equipment companies located in the U.S. and has required international travel and communication directly with clients as a result. I worked both on-site in San-Jose and in the offshore development office in Ukraine to design, code and deploy a number of software modules and features.

The ControlWORKS framework is a Smalltalk application created specifically for the control of semiconductor wafer processing equipment. Its concepts, object model and machine scheduler design has provided me with a great example of a sophisticated software solution and broadened my software development expertise.
