My first exposure to data management came around 1999 when, as a student, I designed a data model of a patient record database for an emergency station. I acquired further ER modeling, RDBMS and SQL skills in the project WINGS-FOR-SHIPS designing large data schema in the field of maritime transportation.
I gained my first experience with programmatic DB access in the project SCU. Recently, I developed a persistence framework that provided an innovative implementation of common object-relational mapping features.
Working on data-based systems, I found myself acting as a database expert. My day-to-day responsibilities included optimisation and refactoring of data schemas database configuration and creation of complex SQL scripts.
